Jul 29, 2019 – Pakistanis wishing to study in Canada have
been added to the list of nationalities covered under the
Student Direct Stream.
The federal government move gives candidates applying for a
Canada Study Permit from the Asian country access to 20-day
standard processing.
Pakistan joins China, India, Philippines and Vietnam as the five
countries with access to the SDS.
Study Permit applications must be received electronically to
qualify for SDS processing.
The SDS was introduced in June 2018 to offer expedited Study
Permit processing for international students from key Asian
markets.
