Armstrong Teasdale’s London corporate team had a busy 2021, advising on more than 30 M&A deals. Team head Peter Kohl, qualified in both England and the United States, has more than 30 years’ transactional and advisory experience in M&A, venture capital, capital markets and corporate governance. Yvonne Costello is dual qualified in England and Wales and Ireland, while Una Deretic regularly advises clients in the retail, consumer and natural resources sectors. Joan Yu leads the practice and handles AIM and LSE Main Market matters, as well as public takeovers and reverse takeovers. Dispute resolution > Commercial litigation: mid-market Tier 4

The commercial litigation practice of Armstrong Teasdale (which recently acquired UK firm Kerman & Co) acts in natural resources, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and sports-related disputes. Robert Paydon is UK commercial litigation head; Robin Pickworth is civil fraud leader; James Thorndyke is ‘very commercial‘; and senior counsel Andy Kerman is ‘a hugely experienced and savvy litigator‘. At associate level, senior Molly Ahmed and Emma Shaw are also active litigators. In June 2022, Fraser Mitchell was made partner.

  • Acted as UEFA’s central law firm in Europe on the ticketing/operational side, advising UEFA from aU.K. perspective and coordinating lawyers in jurisdictions throughout Europe to ensure that Euro 2020 was staged successfully.
