Career
Danielle is a member of the firm’s global privacy and cybersecurity practice and advises clients regarding compliance with federal, state and international privacy and data security laws.
She advises clients on the requirements of and compliance with comprehensive state consumer privacy laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act), state health privacy laws, state children’s and social media laws and other emerging privacy laws. Danielle also advises clients on compliance with federal privacy laws such as the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act and the Gramm-Leach Bliley Act.
Danielle assists clients with data breach and cybersecurity incident response, including analyzing US state and federal and non-US breach laws, providing guidance on forensic investigations, and preparing notifications to individuals and regulatory authorities. She advises clients regarding proactive cyber incident readiness activities, such as preparing breach notification toolkits and reviewing incident response plans. In addition, Danielle assists clients with the preparing responses to the FTC, state attorneys general and international inquiries in relation to privacy investigations and cybersecurity incidents.
Danielle also drafts and negotiates privacy and data security provisions for commercial contracts and advises clients on privacy and cybersecurity due diligence issues.
