Verónica Franco is another key figure; in one highlight, she led the firm’s advice to Banco Continental on its $400m unsecured notes issuance, the first sustainable bond issuance by a Paraguayan issuer. Corporate practice head Néstor Loizaga is also an important contact here, and Carlos Vasconsellos is the name to note for international corporate financing. At the senior associate level, Claudia Arietti specialises in bilateral and syndicated loans, trusts, secured transactions and PPP and turnkey projects, while Pamela Lezcano has recently returned from London, where she received her LLM, and advises companies, banks and regulators on finance and capital markets.
