Key partner. André Sigelmann co-heads the firm’s Projects practice and accumulates more than 20 years of experience in the development, implementation and financing of projects and also in M&A transactions in which in-depth knowledge of projects development and implementation is a key element. André has a particularly notable experience in the pulp and paper, energy and oil & gas industries, having assisted clients in these industries in several transactions, including EDF Renewables’ Pirapora Solar Complex, the largest in operation in Latin America, Suzano’s pulp plant in Maranhão, one of the largest in the world, Petrobras’ Malhas, PDET and P-53 projects, the EDP/CTG/Furnas’ São Manoel 600MW hydro power plant, in addition to wind power projects totaling more than 21GW of installed capacity. André has an LLM from Columbia Law School, is admitted to practice also in New York and worked as an international associate at one of the most prestigious US law firms.
