Career

Mariana Tavares Antunes started her career at Wald, Antunes, Vita e Blattner Advogados, where she joined in 2000. The recognition of her excellent work led her to the position of managing partner, which she has holds since 2013, and becoming a naming partner in 2016.

Mariana is a highly qualified litigator with experience in domestic and international complex and specialised matters. She cumulates more than twenty years of experience in strategic litigation, arbitration and mediation in various industries such as energy, construction, oil & gas, and telecommunications.

Mariana assists and represents private and public entities in judicial, arbitral and administrative disputes, notably in the infrastructure sector. She has acted in relevant corporate conflicts in the past years involving intellectual property, environmental and competition issues.

Since 2012, Mariana has been regularly featuring in various professional rankings, such as Análise Advocacia magazine (Most Admired Lawyers); LACCA Approved (Best Litigators in Latin America); LACCA Thought Leaders; she also listed in editorial analysis published by specialist publications, such as Chambers Global, Chambers Latin America, Latin Lawyer 250 and The Legal 500.
