Biography:

Valentina Venturelli is a local partner in Baker & McKenzie’s Santiago office. She has more than thirteen years of experience dealing with intellectual and industrial property matters, particularly in the prosecution and registration of trademarks and patents of invention, as well as other IP assets in Chile and foreign countries.

Practice Focus:

Valentina’s practice focuses on intellectual and industrial property matters, and prosecution and surveillance of trademarks and patents, as well as other IP assets in Chile and foreign countries. In connection with IP rights in Chile, she counsels national and international clients in relation to the fulfillment of requirements before the competent authorities, prosecution, administrative litigation, domain names, copyrights, plant variety rights, among others.

Valentina also has experience in consultancy regarding coexistence agreements, consumer protection law and advertisement, license agreements, distribution agreements.

Her practice also focuses on Life Sciences and regulatory affairs in regards with the pharmaceutical industry, cosmetics, medical devices, foodstuff, veterinary products, as well as importation, distribution and commercialization of these products, sanitary regulation, as well as clinical trials and scientific research.
