Career

Thiago has around 15 years of experience in the areas of Public, Administrative and Regulatory law. He He served as general Attorney of the Regulatory Agency of Granted Public Services for Waterway, Rail and Subway Transportation (AGETRANSP) and was a Special Legal Advisor at the Civil Works Secretariat of the state of Rio de Janeiro. He has been an Attorney for the State of Rio de Janeiro since 2006. He is also head of the Legal Department of the Secretariat of Infraestructure and Construction and of the Secretariat of Economic Development, Energy and International Affairs of Rio de Janeiro. He is the author of the book “Economic Analysis of Law in Brazil” (free translation), published in Rio de Janeiro by Lumen Juris, 2016, and author of some articles and chapters of administrative law books published in Brazil, mostly of administrative contracts and infrastructure and regulatory law. Thiago is also a Professor of the Graduate and Postgraduate courses of Law and Economics at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), in topics related to the Administrative and Regulatory Law.
