Career

Polly acts for City senior executives on entering and exiting City institutions, as well as on employment disputes such as redundancy, disciplinary investigations and grievance processes.

She has a particular interest and experience in representing senior female executives in bringing maternity and pregnancy discrimination, and executive equal pay claims in the Employment Tribunal.

She has acted for several CEOs and one of the most senior female CEOs and Board directors in the City on her exit from a PLC involving complex remunerative arrangements within a regulatory framework. She is adept at understanding the fine detail without over-lawyering and losing sight of key settlement objectives.

Polly is a trusted adviser to a range of SME clients on employment issues, contracts and policies, with particular expertise in defending litigation. She is regularly involved in delivering engaging and informative training to HR advisers and business decision makers.
