Career

Elaine qualified in 2009 and joined Judge & Priestley in 2019. In May 2022.  Elaine was promoted to Associate solicitor in recognition of her hard work contributing to the growing size and reputation of the Housing team.

Elaine trained at a local Legal 500 firm before moving to work in London. Since qualifying, she has specialised in litigation, with a particular focus on property based litigation and landlord and tenant matters.

Elaine has acted for Claimants and Defendants in cases at both the High Court and County Courts as well as at the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber).

Elaine joined the housing team in April 2019 and acts exclusively for landlords. She predominantly acts for local authorities in relation to disrepair claims.

Elaine has also delivered training to clients to update them on the latest legal developments.
