Mr Wouter Post
Wouter Post joined the Amsterdam Bar in 1994. Since 2001 he has been working in the field of construction law and real estate law. Prior to that he acquired ample experience in the field of banking law, liability and insurance law and corporate law, including M&A, from which he still benefits every day in his current practice. His current practice covers all aspects of civil real estate law: property development, construction, the sale and purchase of immovable property, procurement law, the various forms of collaboration in the field of real estate development, contract law, etc. Wouter acts on behalf of real estate investors, property developers, contractors and architects/advisers, both in real estate transaction and disputes (including arbitration).
After his graduation in 1994 Wouter started with NautaDutilh in Amsterdam, where he worked for over ten years, of which the last five at the real estate department of that firm. Subsequently he worked as a lawyer at the property development department of Lexence in Amsterdam. In 2008 he continued his practice as one of the partners at Six Advocaten.
Wouter is a member of the Legal Committee of the BNA, the Dutch Royal Institute of Architects. He is a member of the Association of Building law Lawyers (Vereniging voor Bouwrecht-advocaten) and the Association of Real estate Lawyers (Vereniging van Vastgoed Juristen)
Wouter was educated in law at the University of Groningen and the University of Poitiers.
Independent Dutch boutique, Six Advocaten, focuses on real estate, procurement, regulatory and construction law. The firm assists client drafting and evaluating contracts and in contract-related dispute resolution, such as damages, delays in construction, warranties, specification, contract variations, and execution matters. The firm has a focus on the development in logistics, infrastructure and public procurement.
