Career
Tom Vantroyen was admitted to the Brussels Bar in 1998. He trained at the Brussels office of an international law firm before joining ALTIUS in 2000. He became a Partner in 2008.
Tom has over 20 years’ experience advising clients on a broad spectrum of corporate matters, with a focus on transactional work.
Tom’s corporate practice combines a mixture of Belgian and cross-border M&A work. He regularly advises private equity firms, management and corporates on mergers and acquisitions, disposals and restructurings.
Tom has worked on transactions in many industry sectors throughout his career, including the life sciences/healthcare, media, technology and hospitality sectors.

He is fluent in Dutch, French and English.
