During his extensive legal career, Amir has been involved in many legal matters relating to real-estate, planning and construction law, and commercial law. Amir has led many complex transactions in Israel and abroad, appeared and litigated before several judicial forums and tribunals and has gained significant expertise in the different legal challenges the cellular industry is facing. His real estate expertise is noted in the 2013 editions of Legal Experts EMEA, Chambers and Partners, and the editorial of Legal 500: Europe, Middle East & Africa 2013, which quoted clients praising him as “a magnificent lawyer that gives excellent advice”. The 2011 edition of Legal Experts EMEA lists Amir as one of the leading experts in real-estate law in Israel. In 2010, he was named by daily Ma’ariv as Israel’s top real-estate lawyer. In addition to his involvement in the firm, Amir is a member of the board of directors of Amot Investments Ltd., a publicly traded company on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, is a member of the board at the municipal water company of Ramat Hasharon, takes active part in Friends of the Humane Society in Israel, and serves as Vice Chairman of the Judge Appointment Advisory Committee.
Amir Amar is the head of AYR and was one of the founding partners of the firm in 2010. Partner at Ron Gazit Rotenberg & Co, where he left to establish AYR.

Yacov Cohen handles litigation regarding planning and building, including before the various planning committees. He advised Aura Investments on an urban renewal and re-construction project covering 150,000 sqm of land across the city of Yahud. Amir Amar specialises in litigation regarding land claims, commercial disputes and administrative petitions in the planning space.
Drawing upon its complementary urban renewal, planning and zoning and municipal taxation practices, AYR – Amar Reiter Jeanne Shochatovitch & Co predominantly advises clients on residential developments and urban renewal projects. It handles land purchasing agreements, funding arrangements and regulatory objections and appeals regarding planning permissions. Aharon Barda is part of a team advising Gindi Tower Tel Aviv on a project to build 1,540 residential housing units and a commercial area in central Tel Aviv. Amir Amar stands out for his experience in litigation regarding land claims, commercial disputes and administrative petitions under the Planning and Building Law. Omer Gadish is also noted. Eli Eshel was a new arrival in July 2020.
