Career

Davide Jermini is a partner at Walder Wyss and he heads its Lugano Office. He is mainly active in the fields of corporate and commercial law, M&A (in particular real estate transactions) as well as general banking & finance (including regulatory issues). Moreover, he advises on employment law issues and corporate succession planning. He regularly assists Swiss subsidiaries of international groups and banks, both in advisory and litigation matters. His strong economic background allows him a deep understanding of the commercial needs of his clients.

He joined Walder Wyss in 2013 after having worked 5 years for a major international business law firm in Zurich and after having been a partner in Zurich and Lugano based law firms for 8 years. He regularly publishes and lectures in his fields of expertise.

Education

Davide Jermini was born in 1968 and studied economics at the University of St. Gallen (lic. oec. HSG, 1992) and law at the University of Basle (lic. iur., 1995; magna cum laude). He was admitted to the Ticino bar in 1999 and to the Ticino notary society in 2000.
