Martin Zobl is a managing associate in the Information Technology, Energy, Intellectual Property and Competition Team. His preferred areas of practice include public and administrative law, administrative litigation as well as contract law. He has extensive practical experience in the public sector, in particular in the life sciences and health sector, the energy and infrastructure sector as well as in government procurement and data protection matters. In addition, Martin Zobl benefits from a solid background in European (institutional) law and public international law. He advises and represents clients both in courts and before administrative bodies and he publishes in his areas of expertise on a regular basis.
He speaks German, English and French.
Martin Zobl was educated at the Universities of Zurich and Paris-X-Nanterre (lic. iur./Master 2007, Dr. iur. 2011) and he obtained an LL.M. degree from New York University in 2014. Before joining Walder Wyss, Martin Zobl worked as a research fellow at the Institute for Public International Law and Foreign Constitutional Law at the University of Zurich (Prof. Daniel Thürer) and as a law clerk at the District Court of Zurich.
