Darragh is a partner in our Banking and Finance team.Darragh advises both lenders and borrowers on a full range of secured and unsecured finance transactions including bilateral and syndicated loans, security, intercreditor and hedging packages. Darragh has particular experience in advising borrowers, developers, lending institutions and alternative lenders in relation to commercial and residential real estate acquisition and development finance. Darragh also has experience advising sponsors, government authorities, financial institutions, alternative lenders, public sector clients and borrowers on major project finance and renewable energy transactions matters.  Darragh has advised on some of the most significant renewable energy and project financings in Ireland in recent years, including advising Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c., Barclays Bank PLC and The Governor and Company of the Bank of Ireland on windfarm financings as well as the National Treasury Management Agency (as the NDFA) on the Grangegorman Campus and PPP Primary Care Centres PPP. Darragh is ranked by Chambers and Partners in Banking and Finance and recommended by Legal 500. He previously qualified as a chartered accountant, having trained with KPMG in Dublin.

Shane leads our firm’s Employment & Benefits group. He is a specialist in all aspects of employment law, advising public bodies, commercial entities and regulatory organisations on both contentious and non-contentious matters.His work spans strategic advice to senior management and boards on reputation management, organisational restructuring, governance, litigation and engagement with Government authorities. He also supports HR teams on operational issues, including industrial relations, policy development, investigations, compensation and benefits, and the full lifecycle of the employment relationship—from recruitment through to dismissal, termination, or retirement.Shane also represents his clients in all litigious fora during complex contentious matters in the WRC, the Labour Court and civil courts.

Peter is a partner in our Projects, Infrastructure & Energy group, specialising in Public Procurement. He has more than 25 years’ experience of advising public and private sector organizations on the procurement of projects and contracts across various sectors including transport, social housing, education, technology, communications, waste, health and energy.    Peter advises contracting authorities on all aspects of the public procurement process – strategy, procedure, market consultation, drafting robust procurement documents, candidate selection, evaluation and award processes, debriefings, contract drafting/negotiation, contract modification and green/social procurement issues. He also advises bidders on every aspect of tendering - teaming and consortia arrangements, bid strategy, pre-qualification, clarifications, contract reviews/mark-ups, reviewing tender requirements and evaluation criteria, compliance issues, debriefings, sub-contracting and contract finalisation.He regularly acts for clients in procurement dispute resolution and has advised on many leading cases decided by the courts in Ireland and Northern Ireland.Peter has been recognized for many years by independent directories (Chambers Europe, Legal 500 and Who’s Who Legal) as a leading procurement and projects lawyer.
