Position

Darragh is a partner in our Banking and Finance team.

Darragh advises both lenders and borrowers on a full range of secured and unsecured finance transactions including bilateral and syndicated loans, security, intercreditor and hedging packages. Darragh has particular experience in advising borrowers, developers, lending institutions and alternative lenders in relation to commercial and residential real estate acquisition and development finance. 

Darragh also has experience advising sponsors, government authorities, financial institutions, alternative lenders, public sector clients and borrowers on major project finance and renewable energy transactions matters.  Darragh has advised on some of the most significant renewable energy and project financings in Ireland in recent years, including advising Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c., Barclays Bank PLC and The Governor and Company of the Bank of Ireland on windfarm financings as well as the National Treasury Management Agency (as the NDFA) on the Grangegorman Campus and PPP Primary Care Centres PPP. Darragh is ranked by Chambers and Partners in Banking and Finance and recommended by Legal 500. He previously qualified as a chartered accountant, having trained with KPMG in Dublin.
