Eversheds Sutherland Dvořák Hager, advokátní kancelář, s.r.o. has 'one of the best employment practices in the Czech Republic', handling complex transactional, contentious and advisory employment matters. The 'knowledgeable' team is led by Tomáš Procházka and also includes Veronika Odrobinová. The team recently assisted Škofin with a range of employment issues, including several employment terminations; successfully represented Komerční banka in an unfair dismissal case; and advised a number of clients on the implementation of the GDPR.

Baker & McKenzie s.r.o., advokátní kancelář regularly advises on the employment aspects of large M&A transactions, and assists multinational companies with internal audits and high-profile employment terminations. Amazon, Celgene and ERB Bank are clients. Martin Hrodek and senior associate Zuzana Ferianc are the key names to note.

Clients of bpv Braun Partners s.r.o. praise its 'personal approach and its ability to think out of the box'. The team advises on day-to-day employment matters, as well as on collective bargaining negotiations and secondments. Its client roster features LSG Sky Chefs Czechia, Mediaservis and Gerresheimer. Arthur Braun heads the team, which includes managing associate Lucie Kalašová, who is 'able to come up with the right solution'.

Dentons' team is singled out for its 'high level of knowledge and experience, strong personality, and excellent communication skills'. The group leverages the firm's global network of offices to assist with cross-border transactions and day-to-day employment advisory work including data protection matters; it also has experience of handling employment litigation and criminal investigations. The team works very closely with its Bratislava office and recently advised Sanofi on the transfer of employees following the divestment of its European generics division. Other recent work includes representing Valeo Výměníky Tepla in an alleged unfair dismissal claim and advising various clients on data protection and GDPR matters. Ladislav Smejkal and Tomáš Bílek jointly lead the team.

Glatzová & Co., s.r.o.  is 'extremely keen to achieve results'. It has notable expertise in the automotive, IT and financial services industries, counting Mazda Motor Logistics, Hypoteční banka, Renault Trucks and International Automotive Components Group as major clients. Recent instructions include a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The 'business-oriented' Jiří Sixta and senior associate Matěj Mihálik 'have a strong theoretical background, which enables them to provide well-grounded legal opinions in various areas of law'.

Employment boutique firm Randl Partners attorneys at law, which is led by employment specialist Nataša Randlová, is widely recognised as a leading practice in the Czech market. It specialises in collective bargaining, transfer of employees, and agency-related matters; it also regularly handles contentious employment matters representing clients before state authorities.

Deloitte Legal s.r.o., advokátní kancelář's team is led by the 'bright and experienced' Jan Procházka, who handles a mix of day-to-day employment advisory work and disputes. The team advised on the implementation of the GDPR with respect to employee personal data, handled fraud and harassment investigations, and acted on the employment aspects of several restructuring transactions. Managing associate Anna Szabová is also recommended.

Kinstellar has 'great labour law knowledge' and clients appreciate its ability to 'always come up with rounded and tailored solutions'. The team is particularly experienced in advising on employment matters arising from local and cross-border business transfers and restructurings. PETERKA & PARTNERS has an impressive footprint across the CEE region, and the team advises a mix of domestic and international clients. It counts Atlas Copco Group as a key client, which it advises on day-to-day employment matters as well as disputes. Ondrej Dusek and Adela Krbcova jointly lead the team and senior associate Petr Hradil is recommended for his 'flexibility'.

PRK Partners' five-strong team is led by the highly regarded Jaroslav Škubal, who has notable expertise in employment transfers, dismissals, secondments, and collective bargaining; the team also has 'a number of bright young practitioners' including senior associate Tereza Erényi, of counsel Petr Bezouška and associate Matěj Daněk. It recently handled an array of data privacy matters, employment terminations and the employment aspects of restructuring mandates, and counts Commerzbank, Anheuser-Busch InBev and Knauf Insulation among its clients.
