Partner at BMA’s corporate and M&A practice area with more than 15 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and corporate litigation.

Miguel has acted in transactions and litigation in various industries, including energy, health, consumer products, services, oil and gás, technology, construction, advertising and infrastructure. He has been involved in leveraged buyouts, acquisition and sale of distressed assets, defending listed companies against hostile takeover bids, and corporate reorganizations, and took part in one of the largest project finance transactions ever made in Brazil’s renewable energy sector. Miguel has vast experience in all sorts of commercial agreements and in corporate litigation involving both closed and public companies. Miguel was an international visiting attorney in the M&A practice area at Skadden & Arps in New York and holds an LL.M. degree in Corporate Law from New York University.
