Career

Barry is part of Ogier’s multi-disciplinary Private Equity team.  He specialises in fund formation and capital raising, advising on and forming co-investment vehicles, AIVs and parallel funds, side letter negotiation, advising on ongoing fund operation including regulatory compliance, establishing and advising management and advisory structures including GPs, special limited partners, carry vehicles, advice in relation to economic substance, LP advisory services and advising on term extensions, wind-down and termination.

Barry joined Ogier in 2018 from another leading international law firm in the Cayman Islands. He previously worked at Clifford Chance in London. During his time at Clifford Chance, Barry completed secondments to the Singapore office and Deutsche Bank.
