Seung Jong Yang is an attorney in the firm's General Tax Consulting and Tax Audit & Tax Dispute Resolution Practices.

Mr. Yang joined Kim & Chang in 2007 after eight years of distinguished service with the National Tax Service (NTS), where he served as a deputy director at the Bureau of Legal Affairs & Appeals and Corporate Investigation. In particular, Mr. Yang acquired extensive experience dealing with international tax matters while he, as a team leader, conducted tax investigation into foreign-invested companies (MNEs). Also, Mr. Yang further strengthened his knowledge of international tax matters and general tax laws through an opportunity to study for three years in the United States (Tax LL.M. at New York University and S.J.D. at the University of Michigan).

As an attorney, Mr. Yang advises clients on all aspects of tax laws, including overall consulting, audit and dispute resolution, and international tax matters.
