At Rymarz Zdort Maruta, the niche focus of the firm’s IP and licensing practice is on software rights and licensing for the video games sector; clients appreciate the fact that it is ‘one of the few firms that have this type of expertise in the region‘. The team regularly assists clients with patent and trade mark registration. The practice is jointly lead by Michał Pękał, who has expertise in the creation of advanced licensing structures; Marcin Maruta, who focuses his practice on license audits, the cloud and paperless solutions; and Zbigniew Okoń, who is knowledgable on IP protection, licensing agreements, software implementation and maintenance agreements.
