Position

Maria focuses on competition, anti-trust, M&A law, intellectual property, corporate and commercial law. Her practice covers a wide spectrum of matters pertaining to EU, French and Greek competition law, including cartels, abuse of dominance, merger control, state aid and related issues.

Maria is also engaged in carrying out legal due diligences, advising clients on company establishment and structuring, ongoing corporate governance, their entry into commercial agreements and contracts, in drafting share purchase and ancillary agreements and in negotiating for related issues according to the Harvard Negotiation method (attended in Paris).

Maria is a PhD candidate in competition law and an active member of two law research institutes in Paris; she was also a Teaching Fellow at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She was admitted to the Athens Bar in 2012, qualified as French lawyer in 2017 and joined our firm in 2020. Maria is admitted before the Court of Appeals.
