KGDI Law Firm’s ‘excellent’ group is among ‘the best’ in Greece. PotamitisVekris has a superb track record for contentious matters and, on the advisory side, assisted both HSBC and RBS with the implementation of voluntary redundancy schemes. Practice head Alexios Papastavrou is one of the best-known lawyers in the market.

Rania Papakonstantinou’s team at Zepos & Yannopoulos has an excellent reputation. Its predominantly foreign client base includes Cadbury Schweppes, Kraft, Hewlett-Packard, Foot Locker, TUI Travel, and Premier Capital Hellas, which operates the majority of McDonalds’ restaurants in Greece.

A. & K. Metaxopoulos & Partners. Law Firm advises international clients such as Avis, which called upon the firm when reviewing internal codes of working practice. The firm also has a strong contentious practice, where Kriton Metaxopoulos and Vivian Vassilopoulou are highly regarded.

Avramopoulos & Partners Law Firm’s employment head Michael Poulakos is very active on contentious matters, and recently represented Attica Wealth Management, NCR Hellas, and Hill International in litigation. Barbara Angelopoulou is active on the advisory side.

Drakopoulos Law Firm has considerable experience advising clients on employment issues in Southeastern Europe, and recently assisted Deloitte with the secondment of employees from Greece to Romania. Dryllerakis & Associates is ‘very ethical in its approach,’ and ‘successfully handles both simple and complex situations’. One of its largest recent mandates was to advise the HFSF on employment issues pertaining to the restructuring of a bank. Vassilis-Thomas Karantounias has ‘a profound knowledge of his field’.

Employment boutique Kremalis – Law Firm, Member Of Ius Laboris is especially well regarded for social security and pensions matters. On the contentious side, the firm recently handled several individual and collective dismissal cases. Konstantinos Kremalis and Dimitrios Kremalis are recommended.

John Filiotis at Lambadarios Law Firm has ‘huge experience in employment and litigation’. Key clients include Dow, Google, Sony, and Athens Papermill.

Katia Papantonopoulou heads M & P Bernitsas’ ‘exceptional’ team, which advises on contentious and non-contentious matters. Clients include BMW, Samsung, Smith & Nephew, and Polo Ralph Lauren.

Pistiolis – Triantafyllos & Associates is ‘exceptional at employment law’, displaying ‘in-depth expertise, accuracy and clever tactics’, and delivering ‘the highest levels of service and value for money’. It recently represented EYDAP, the water supplier in Athens, in collective employment agreement negotiations. Theodore Pistiolis and Anastasios Triantafyllos are highly regarded ‘experts in employment law’.

Terina Raptis heads the well-regarded team at Sarantitis Law Firm, which recently advised Iberostar on its employment issues. The firm is also recommended for contentious advice. The J. Maillis Group is a major client.
