Career

Inge Kristian Brodersen is a partner in Schjødt’s IP & Technology department. Throughout his career, Inge has worked specifically with standard and customized agreements within the information technology (IT) sector. As a lawyer, he has assisted several clients in complex negotiations and dispute resolution related to large IT services contracts. He has extensive experience from both the customer and the supplier perspectives, including drafting and managing contracts for managed services, infrastructure operations, software development, application management, etc. Inge has assisted many clients with legal advice for implementing cloud services like SaaS. He has previously been a board member of the Norwegian Computer Society´s working group for Cloud Computing.

Inge has worked as the director of operations in the Norwegian branch of a global IT company, where he gained hands-on management experience in areas such as audits, quality assurance, and ISO 9001 certification.

Furthermore, Inge is the data protection officer in Schjødt. He has worked for several years with data protection laws and regulations, both as a lawyer and as the “data protection officer” in an IT company. His experience includes assessments of data protection-related aspects of the procurement of cloud services, legal review of data processing agreements, etc. He has practical experience regarding the implementation and follow-up of GDPR compliance measures.
