Advokatfirmaet Schjødt AS fields a ‘very strong’ team which acts for a diverse group of clients operating on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, including oil and gas players, onshore and offshore wind companies, and green hydrogen producers. Leveraging its network of offices across Scandinavia, the firm is well-placed to advise both international and domestic clients on cross-border transactions and high-profile disputes. Sindre Søndenå Andersen leads the practice in Bergen, while Oslo-based private equity expert Preben Willoch oversees the renewables offering. Also in the core team are oil, gas and offshore expert Christian Fredrik Michelet, as well as Claus Severin Mørch, who takes point on transactional mandates. Camilla Grytten joined the practice from CMS Kluge, adding her energy and petroleum expertise to the group. Sverre Bjelland departed in early 2024, as did Torkjel Grøndalen, who left to Wiersholm.
