Position
Darryl is the Head of RDJ’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution team and is also a member of the firm’s IP, Media, Insolvency and Corporate Restructuring teams. He has extensive experience in litigation and dispute resolution with a particular emphasis on financial services litigation, contentious media, technology and IP disputes, as well as acting for liquidators and receivers in insolvency related litigation.

The breadth of team affords the firm with high levels of specialisation, from commercial disputes and professional indemnity to media, healthcare (medical negligence), aviation and data protection cases. The firm has close links to international insurers and reinsurers, along with media enterprises, handling large cases on a regular basis. Managing partner Jamie Olden has led teams in a series of high-stakes cases, as has Ronan Geary, the head of the commercial litigation group. Darryl Broderick heads the litigation team and is rated for media disputes. Richard Martin remains a senior and highly-rated practitioner.
Ireland > Insolvency and corporate restructuring
RDJ LLP‘s ‘regional spread and stronger national presence’ provide it with the resources and connections to fuel a flourishing practice, acting for a range of insolvency practitioners, financial institutions, debtors, directors and other creditors. It remains active in examinerships, liquidations and receiverships, and has made a further impact in SCARP matters, along with the sale of distressed assets. Ashling Walsh leads the insolvency and restructuring team. Darryl Broderick is noted for enforcement actions for banks and other creditors, along with insolvency-related litigation.
