Position

Jamie is a Partner in our Construction Group.

Career

Jamie joined the Construction Group in July 2014, having worked in construction as a project manager and site manager prior to qualifying as a solicitor. He spent one year post qualification in the UK where he gained experience with UK contract forms such as JCT and NEC3. He advises both public and private sector clients in Ireland on Public Works Contracts, RIAI, FIDIC, NEC3 and bespoke forms of contract.

Jamie’s recent work involves a mix of dispute and transactional matters (including PPPs, development finance, oil and gas offshore facilities decommissioning, social housing, pharma, data centres and waste to energy).

He also practices in the area of health and safety law. He was elected to the Health and Safety Lawyers Association of Ireland Committee in 2017. Jamie lectures on Trinity College’s Diploma in Construction Law, the Law Society’s diploma in Construction Law, UCD’s postgraduate Health and Safety courses and continues to provide assistance to Construction Law master’s students at King’s College London.
