Specialist in tax litigation, representing national and international companies in important cases before the tax courts.
Serena Cabrita Neto is acknowledged by the Portuguese Bar Association as a specialist in tax law. She exclusively focuses tax litigation, representing many national and international companies in important cases before the tax courts.

Before joining Cuatrecasas, she worked at three other law firms in Portugal (1996-1999, 1999-2012 and 2012-2023).

She has been an arbitrator for tax at CAAD – Centro de Arbitragem Administrativa since 2011.

She is a guest lecturer at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, where she has lectured on tax law in the Bachelor of Laws. Since 2009, she has been in charge of the subjects Advanced issues relating to Personal Income Tax and Tax Proceedings in the postgraduate studies in Taxation and is co-director of the subject Litigation and Arbitration in the Master in Taxation.

She is the author of various articles and publications in her specialty, including co-author of Manual de Contencioso e Arbitragem (2017).
