Partner. Hestnes provides day-to-day advice to clients needing expertise in the fields of intellectual property law, technology, IT, media and marketing.

His assistance encompasses the protection and commercialisation of intellectual property and industrial rights, such as copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets and protection from knockoff/counterfeit products. He assists with the framing and negotiation of licensing and technology contracts and the framing of contracts for R&D projects, as well as providing advice on compliance issues and day-to-day media and marketing activities. Hestnes has also assisted clients in major dispute proceedings and complex negotiations relating to intellectual property rights and IT projects.

Hestnes is well-versed in the business sectors he assists, and understands his customers’ needs and commercial drivers. This makes him an excellent strategic advisor for his clients.
