(Hall of Fame)Arthur Cox‘s ‘top-tier‘ construction practice has deep expertise in a range of industries, including data centres, manufacturing and commercial and residential developments, but has a particularly strong suit in the energy sector, where the team advises both developers and funders on major projects in growing areas such as solar, offshore wind and battery storage. ‘Standout practitioner‘ Niav O’Higgins leads the team with the ‘commercial‘ Karen Killoran; both are skilled in the full spectrum of contentious and transactional matters. Niamh McGovern, who has strengths in the energy, infrastructure and transport, Fiona Egan and Shane O’Neill (who focuses on commercial property and renewable energy projects) are also key names.
Ireland > Projects and PPP
The sizeable team at Arthur Cox has a well-rounded projects and infrastructure practice that assists clients with the planning and development of new projects, as well as the acquisition, disposal and operation of brownfield projects. The team is particularly strong in the energy sector, handling some of the largest financing and development mandates in this area. Practice head Aaron Boyle handles infrastructure projects in the transport and telecoms sectors, while Alex McLean’s practice has a specific focus on the energy sector. Niav O’Higgins and Karen Killoran have significant experience of handling the full range of contentious and non-contentious matters in the construction sector. Other notable members of the team include Niamh McGovern and Danielle Conaghan.
