Our market leading team, which includes two accredited specialists in professional negligence, one mediator and a certified specialist in cyber security, has 30 years + experience in representing the full spectrum of professionals including accountants, advocates, architects, construction professionals, educational institutions, engineers, IFAs, insolvency practitioners, insurance brokers, solicitors and surveyors.

We achieve commercial resolutions and our experience, coupled with strong relationships with insurers, experts and counsel enables us to tailor solutions to all professional disputes.

We also defend D&O claims and represent professionals in regulatory proceedings before their professional bodies, including the SLCC, ICAS and the ARB and provide guidance on sensitive, effective handling of risk management, PR and reputational issues.

Known for keeping clients out of court where possible via ADR but also for the successful defence of high profile reported cases for Master Policy insurers, for example, landmark cases on breach of fiduciary duty and identity fraud.

Recent work includes advising on claims arising from payment instruction frauds and data breaches following incidences of cyber fraud where home working exposed vulnerabilities in processes, client and internal communications and IT systems.
