SOLLA S.A.

We handle Solla’s trademark portfolio in Colombia and abroad.

We would like to highlight the prejudicial negotiation of the infringement of Solla’s key trademarks Nutrecan and Nutrecat by Puertomar S.A. and avoided filing an infringement action and are seeking to execute a settlement agreement very shortly.

We also secured registration for another key trademark, Sabueso el de todas las razas & design in class 31, despite of an opposition filed by Alimentos Concentrados Raza LTDA. on the grounds of its trademark Raza by successfully proving that the conflicting trademarks were sufficiently different and there was no bad faith from our client.

TEAM FOODS COLOMBIA S.A.

We handle Team’s trademark portfolio in Colombia as well as some matters abroad.

We obtained the notoriety of trademark Dagusto for the first time in the Colombian market by successfully opposing the registration of trademark Buengusto & design in classes 29 and 30 filed by Restrepo Hermanos S.A.

We also obtained the extension of notoriety of trademark Gourmet by opposing against trademark Estado Gourmet, as well as the acknowledgement of the existence of the trademark family Gourmet.

FENDER MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS CORPORATION

We have obtained the registration of key trademarks FENDER PLAY and STUDIOLIVE.

Currently, we are seeking to overturn the denial of trademark ERIS on the grounds of trademark ARIS in class 9 owned by Diego Alejandro Aristizábal García by proving that ERIS and ARIS may coexist in view of the orthographic, phonetic and graphic differences provided by their different letters E and A, allowing consumers to distinguish them.

Additionally, that ARIS coexists with trademark ARUS (having only one different letter).
