FINRA proposed extending the expiration date of FINRA Rule 0180 ("Application of Rules to Security-Based Swaps") to February 12, 2020. This rule limits the application of FINRA rules to security-based swaps (i.e., it maintains the status quo).

FINRA filed the proposed extension for immediate effectiveness. The exemption was previously set to expire on February 12, 2019.
