  • The Nigerian Trademarks Registry has issued a new Online Trade Marks Journal. The new Journal is dated Volume 1. No 3 of 29th May 2020. Accordingly, the deadline for oppositions to published marks in this volume will be 2 months from the date of publication which is the 29th of July, 2020.

AMENDMENT TO THE 6TH EDITION OF THE NATIONAL BROADCASTING COMMISSION CODE

  • The Nigerian Broadcasting Commission at a press briefing held on 27th May 2020 at the Commission's headquarters in Abuja reported on reforms currently on going within the Commission. The Acting Director General Prof. Armstrong A. Idachaba reported that following the approval of President Muhammadu Buhari, the board and management of the Commission on the 26th of March 2020 held a public presentation with key industry stakeholders on the proposed Amendment to the 6th edition of the Nigeria Broadcasting Code.
