Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) wordt ook wel de 'meekijkwet' genoemd. Reden van deze bijnaam is de verplichting voor bedrijven om openheid van zaken te geven middels verslagen, op het gebied van sociale- en mensenrechten, op het gebied van duurzaamheid en over de wijze waarop de onderneming bestuurd wordt –en dat over de hele keten van hun diensten en producten. Dus ook over díe delen en processen, die buiten de onderneming vallen. Dat roept vragen op over hoe Chinese partnerbedrijven van Nederlandse ondernemingen om zullen gaan met informatieverzoeken vanuit hun nederlandse partners.
