華為（ファーウェイ）技術有限公司の徐直軍輪番会長は、17、18両日開催の「ファーウェイ中国生態大会2021」で、「鴻蒙（ハーモニー）OSのソースコードを今年全面的にオープンにし、携帯電話、タブレット、車載機器、スマートディスプレイ、各種IoT（モノのインターネット）端末をカバーする」と述べた。また、年内に鴻蒙OS搭載の端末数が3億台に達する見込みで、うちファーウェイ1+8端末が2億台以上に、第3者協力パートナー向けの各種端末が1億台以上になると明らかにした。
