United Airlines Reaches Settlement With Dragged Passenger David Dao

Thursday following the release of the reports submitted by the officers who dragged David Dao off of a United Airlines flight, United Airlines reached a settlement with Dao.

Thursday following the release of the reports submitted by the officers who dragged David Dao off of a United Airlines flight, United Airlines reached a settlement with Dao.

Unfortunately, Dao's lawyer declined to disclose the amount of the settlement. The agreement also states that the sum will remain confidential.

Dao's legal team praised the CEO of United following the settlement, as he kept his word. The CEO of United said he was going to do the right thing, which they believe he has. Since the incident, United has taken full responsibility for what occurred, and did not try to blame others.

However, reaching this settlement does not mean United is able to re-build their brand yet. Yes, they have been able to put the biggest fiasco they have faced to rest, but they have a couple of things they still need to deal with.
