I am a legal costs and fraud specialist partner at BLM with 12 years’ experience principally dealing with complex multi-party claims, group litigation and professional negligence; I represent both paying and receiving parties in technical costs arguments from first instance and have advised and been instructed on several appeals to the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court; I represented the Defendant working group in the Civil Justice Council mediated NIHL agreement and continue to be involved in legal process reform; I have undertaken mediation training and have successfully concluded many seven-figure claims via formal mediation or ADR generally; I have particular experience in fraud and related proceedings including emergency injunctions and associated regulatory issues; I also have a wide ranging and developing audit practice
