Position

Tristan Maultby is a Group Partner in Walkers’ Jersey office. Tristan joined Walkers in 2019 and is a member of the Global Finance and Corporate Groups.

Tristan has worked offshore since 2013, and advises global financial institutions, corporates, trustees and other entities on the Jersey aspects of international corporate, banking and finance transactions.

Tristan has particular experience of advising on the establishment of investment holding structures in Jersey and of advising lenders providing finance to such investment holding structures.

He also has experience in non-contentious restructuring matters.

Career

Prior to joining Walkers, Tristan worked in the Banking and Finance team of another leading offshore law firm and in the Banking, Finance and Restructuring team at Norton Rose Fulbright LLP in London.

The practice at Walkers advises major international banks and private equity houses on a range of financing arrangements, with particular strength in advising both lenders and buyers on real estate transactions. Beyond this, the firm offers assistance with secured, leveraged acquisition and fund finance, restructuring and Sharia-compliant transactions.
