Carlos Fradique, managing partner of Brigard Urrutia with 30 years of professional experience, is a licensed practitioner in Colombia and a member of the New York Bar. Carlos has been a pioneer in the creation and consolidation of the Private Equity and Foreign Investment industry in Colombia and has been very active in a large number of upstream and downstream investment, infrastructure and financing transactions.

Carlos has consistently been selected as a top deal and regulatory lawyer in the Colombian financial market, as a top capital market lawyer in Latin America by Latin Lawyer and has been recognized as a “star individual” in banking and finance by Chambers & Partners. Carlos served as Chief Legal Officer and Head of the Legal Office of the Ministry of Finance/Treasury Department of Colombia and was also an associate with Shearman and Sterling in NYC.
