Career

She has several years of experience providing consulting services in tax and customs matters to numerous multinational companies and business groups from different sectors. Her working experience as a consultant is mainly related to tax planning on various issues connected with national and international matters. Her previous professional experience includes participating as a litigator against the tax authorities in landmark tax refund cases.

She complements her professional practice with teaching in two of the main Universities in the country, The Bussiness School of the National University of Asuncion – “Legal System of Bussiness” – and the School of Law, Policy and Communication of the University Autonomous of Asunción – “Financial Law” and “Tax law”.

Since 2019 she is the Paraguayan correspondent of the IBFD regarding daily tax news. She wrote the Digital Tax Monitor Chapter of Paraguay.

Publications:

She is the author of several articles discussing tax issues in specialized fiscal magazines.

She has collaborated writing the VAT Navigator content and the Paraguay Country Guide for Bloomberg – Tax & Accounting.
