Position
Claire advises clients in respect of corporate, Jersey funds and banking matters.
Her principal practice area is corporate real estate and Jersey funds (both listed and non-listed). Claire has acted on numerous fund structurings and re-structurings, co-investments and portfolio acquisitions and refinancings. She acts mainly borrower/sponsor side on real estate finance transactions as well as for buyer and seller on M&A matters.
Career
Claire qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2005 (currently non-practising) working at London law firm Memery Crystal. She has been at Carey Olsen since 2006 and qualified as a Jersey advocate in 2011. In 2010 Claire spent four months on secondment at top PRC law firm King & Wood’s Shanghai office.
Education
Claire obtained her LLB and LPC at Nottingham Law School, Nottingham Trent University.
