Lawyer Rankings

London > Projects, energy and natural resources > Infrastructure

Addleshaw Goddard is particularly strong in the domestic market and acts for major government departments and key lenders, among others, on a range of infrastructure matters, including PPPs and PFIs. With strong support from its banking and finance, construction, real estate, litigation and corporate practitioners, the infrastructure, projects and energy team is well placed to handle a broad range of projects work under the leadership of Richard Goodfellow. Goodfellow, who splits his time between Leeds and London, is well regarded for renewables and utilities work, while Matthew Newing handles transactional matters in the social infrastructure sector. Michael O’Connor is based out of Manchester and London, and is a name to note for public, private and project finance transactions. Ian Le Pelly joined from an in-house role at DP World in late 2021 while Matthew Williams joined from Fieldfisher in early 2022.
