Career

He has successively engaged in policy research, legislation and legal administration in government departments and institutions such as the Department of Political and Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Internal Affairs Committee of the National People’s Congress, and the State System Reform Office.

He has been to the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other countries and regions for exchange and study and investigation. He has served as a trustee of the Law Center of the Faculty of Law of the University of Toronto, Canada, and the vice chairman of the U.S.-China Exchange Center at Oklahoma State University and was awarded the title of honorary vice governor of the state.

As a senior lawyer majoring in intellectual property law, he was awarded the title of director of the Best Professional Committee of Beijing Lawyers Association for three consecutive years in 2005, 2006 and 2007. During his tenure as the deputy director of the Business Guidance and Continuing Education Committee of the 8th Beijing Lawyers Association, he was mainly responsible for the business guidance of the legal professional committees such as trademarks, patents (technical secret protection), copyrights, and anti-unfair competition. Mr. Ge Xiaoying has many years of experience as a lawyer, has served and represented a number of influential clients at home and abroad, has extensive social contacts, and has maintained good cooperative relations with many internationally renowned legal service institutions.
