Career

Patricia heads up Simpson Millar’s team of Care Proceedings Solicitors, and represents parents and children in care proceedings and child protection cases.

She joined Simpson Millar in 2018 and has 20 years’ experience in this area of law. Patricia has also spent time working for the United Nations in The Hague as a Case Manager for the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, helping with prosecuting war crimes.

Patricia is a member of the Law Society Children Law Scheme (Children Panel).

Leisure

Patricia spends much of her free time taking her children to social engagements, and also enjoys literature, live music and Pilates.

In addition she has spent time living overseas and learning different languages. While living in Singapore, she volunteered for a crisis helpline for distressed women, as well as an organisation to boost awareness of gender inequality.
