Career
Prior to joining Jacqueline Schaap and Dirk Visser in founding Visser Schaap & Kreijger in 2015, he worked for Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Linklaters. Before that, he spent several years working full-time in cassation practice and two years in European law and competition law in Brussels.
Alongside an extensive advisory practice he has a wealth of experience in a variety of proceedings, both in preliminary relief and before higher instances and the European Court of Justice. He has completed specialist training courses in competition law and general administrative law at the Grotius Academy, as well as the specialist training course in Civil Cassation. He regularly gives lectures and courses and is frequently published on his areas of expertise.
Paul Kreijger is editor of Mediaforum, the leading Dutch media law journal and a permanent member of staff of Markt en Mededinging (one of the leading Dutch competition law journals). He is member of the Dutch Bar Association’s Advisory Committee on Competition Law.
