Career

Adv. Miriam Haber, a founding partner of Raveh Haber & Co. (together with Adv. Gil Raveh), is one of Israel’s leading legal advisers to fund managers, and is consistently ranked as such by Israeli and international legal directories.

Miriam holds a vast and unrivalled experience in providing legal advice to investment funds of all types, as well as representing institutional investors, both in Israel and abroad.

With over twenty five years of experience, Miriam has been involved in representing the full spectrum of investment funds, including hedge funds, private equity funds, infrastructure and energy funds, real estate funds, venture capital funds and fund of funds. Some of Israel’s most prominent private equity funds can be counted among Miriam’s clients.

In addition, Miriam has experience in establishing and representing joint investment entities, including large investment consortia that coinvest with funds represented by Raveh Haber & Co and private investors investing in complex real estate investments outside of Israel.

Miriam graduated with honors from Columbia University in 1993 as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and then worked at two leading U.S. law firms – at the New York and London offices of Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, and the New York offices of Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP.

Miriam immigrated to Israel in 1999 and was a partner of a large law firm in Tel Aviv, where she was in charge of the private funds practice, until January 2013, when she and Gil Raveh opened Raveh Haber & Co.

As mentioned above, Miriam is consistently ranked by both Israeli and international guides as one of the leading and most prominent lawyers in Israel in the investment funds’ practice.

The 2020 edition of Legal 500 ranks Miriam as one of the leading lawyers in the field of private investment funds in the Israeli market (one of four lawyers, one of which is Adv. Gil Raveh):

“Highly regarded by peers in the Israeli market, Raveh Haber & Co. is a boutique firm with expertise in investment fund formation and taxation. Gil Raveh and Miriam Haber are key figures in the practice group.”

The 2020 edition of Chambers and Partners recommends Miriam as follows:
