He also managed the MMR and Sheep Dip multi-party actions and played a lead role in the King’s Cross Fire and Marchioness Litigation on behalf of claimants. He assisted a number of women sent to Magdalene Laundries to claim compensation. He acted for Leigh Day in the initial stages of the claims brought against them by the SRA. He is a member of the HJA team working on Hillsborough and Grenfell claims, and worked on the enquiry into the death of a construction worker in Qatar and the leading case of Al Najar v Cumberland Hotel. Hodge Jones & Allen is well-equipped to deal with complex cases involving financial exploitation and disputes. It has also taken over deputyships from other firms due to the breakdown in the relationship between the client and the deputy. The ‘well-regarded’ Christine Dyson specialises in acting as deputy for people who have suffered catastrophic injuries. Patrick Allen is another key contact, while Sarah Charnley joined the firm in July 2023 from Fletchers Solicitors.
