Senior Associate

Anna has a strong reputation for providing business-critical employment law advice in complex commercial and legal situations. Her practice covers the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.

She has extensive experience in the financial services sector, advising banks and financial institutions on regulatory personnel issues. Anna is a key member of the firm’s cross-practice team advising on the Senior Manager and Certification Regime since its introduction in 2016 and its 2018 extension. She also advises on contentious departures of senior approved persons and senior managers.

Her contentious work includes Employment Tribunal claims for unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, discrimination, and High Court claims for wrongful dismissal and breach of contract. On the advisory side, she supports large restructurings, redundancy exercises (often multi-jurisdictional), share and business acquisitions, outsourcings, contract drafting, senior executive appointments, terminations, and restrictive covenants.

Anna completed a six-month secondment at a large US bank’s in-house employment legal team and a two-month part-time secondment at the London branch of a Brazilian bank as sole employment counsel within HR.
